Robotic Drawing
|
|
For an exhibition around 2003 at Cristinerose Gallery I made an illustration with a little off-the-shelf robot that I programmed. The robot was programmed with this horribly futile program that was not intended to actually draw, but simply vibrate. The illustration exists in an edition of one, and I think it is still available. In the day of the early LOGO language I used to see a lot of these kinds of things, and always wanted to do it myself once. In general, in life, I try to do everything once, and never do the same thing again. It's not easy.If you click on the robot, you can see an mpeg of the little fella drawing. I destroyed the robot after the illustration. I felt kind of bad. |
